infant strawberry birthmarks

It sounds like a strawberry birthmark, or a hemangeoma in medical terms (I'm not sure how to spell it correctly) My 4 month old son has the same thing on his cheek. It started out very small, and resembled a scratch type spot, but over time it kept getting bigger and now the spot is risen above the skin and is a big red bump on his cheek. It may just stay that small and light, but if it gets bigger and bigger bring it up to your doctor at you next appointment. infant strawberry birthmarks
